Take a Journey through the Base Chakra at the Ground & Connect Live Workshop November

The Sanskrit name for the base chakra is Muladhara, which means root support, which is why this chakra is often referred to as the root chakra. Located at the base of the spine, this chakra is the foundation of our entire chakra system and contains patterns passed down from our families – both our bloodline and our soul-line. Without a strong base chakra, our other chakras lack a strong foundation, and so our entire chakra system can be compromised. By strengthening our base, our other chakras can begin to flow with health, vibrance and energy, too.

The journey home to our base chakra is sacred work. Also called ‘inner work’ as it involves journeying deep within, unravelling our blockages and reconnecting to our bodies from a place of soulfulness. In activating our base chakra, we are setting an intention of listening to the wisdom of our bodies, of being more fully present in each moment. We set an intention of grounding and releasing anything we longer need, of listening to our instincts. We are setting an intention of feeling more energized and alive.

At the Ground & Connect Live Workshop we will journey through the base chakra in four parts:

1. We will begin by tuning into the wisdom of our own bodies.
2. We will explore our connection with the earth and how we can ground ourselves.
3. Deepen our connection with the base chakra through chanting the seed sound.
4. Tune into our deep instincts by connecting with our power animal

This Workshop also includes movement, mandala art making, and some reflection exercises.

Attend both weekday morning sessions on:

• Wednesday 27 November AND Thursday 28 November from 9:30am – 12:30pm

The cost of the Workshop covers both sessions.

To enhance our journey we will be outside in the backyard of my home in Glenelg North. We will connect directly to the Earth and the plants and trees around us. There is an undercover area should the need arise.

In Chakradance we are barefoot with our eyes closed. Eye masks are provided for you to experience a deeper inner journey.
